• Class-free melee, ranged, magic, healing and summoner builds.

• Rebirth at level 250 or higher for 20 additional permanent stat points, keeping learned spells and skills.

Summons & mercenaries

• Capture eligible non-boss monsters with Empty Books.
• Raise book-bound companions and develop them through battle.
• Hire a geared warrior, archer, tank, caster or healer.
• Recruit through Merc Mac at the guild house for 3,000 gold per hour.

Dungeons worth conquering

• Generated instances with changing layouts, enemies, bosses and objectives.
• Contracts rotate every 8 hours: Easy, Challenging, Hard and “This is hell man.”
• Dungeon bosses are stronger than their outside-world counterparts.
• Earn difficulty- and performance-based rewards, then climb the completion and difficulty leaderboards.

Quests & life skills

• Hundreds of quests, longer story chains and daily hunts.
• Day- and night-specific adventures around the world.
• Fishing, gathering, cooking and crafting.

Forge, socket & recycle

• Upgrade equipment with forging and elemental enhancements.
• Find runes for equipment sockets and crystals for defense upgrades.
• Show off shimmering upgraded equipment.
• Recycle eligible gear for a chance to recover none, some or all of its recorded gem and crystal spending.

Material tracking starts with the latest recycler update; older upgrade spending cannot be recovered.

Rare gear & your own look

• Custom weapons, armor, hats, jewelry and earrings.
• Boss drops and tougher +1, +2 and shiny enemies.
• Collect costumes, cosmetic clothing and character skins.
• Use Flair to change your appearance without replacing your combat equipment.

Arenas & bragging rights

• Free rounds or optional equal-stake gold wagers from 500 gold per participant.
• Wager matches support 1v1; the winner takes the pot.
• Qualifying rounds starting with at least four distinct players award winner and top-kills tokens.
